Description

This herbed garlic butter recipe is your secret weapon to truly make your food taste exceptionally delicious. You can absolutely use the dried herbs in your pantry to make this- or use fresh herbs from your garden or the grocery store. Mix in some freshly chopped (or pressed) garlic to tie all the herb flavors together for a gourmet taste at your fingertips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sticks of softened, room-temperature salted butter (1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon dried herbs or two tablespoons of freshly chopped herbs (can be a mixture of any of the following: parsley, thyme, rosemary, sage, oregano, tarragon, basil, marjoram, or any other savory herb of your choice.)
  • 12 teaspoons of freshly minced garlic cloves
  • Parchment paper for wrapping

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip all ingredients together until thoroughly combined. Spoon out onto a piece of parchment paper (or a butter mold) and wrap tightly. Store in the fridge or freezer and use as needed.

Notes

You can use any savory herb of choice in this recipe- you don’t need to use all listed above. Even just two herbs, combined with the minced garlic in the butter, can be delicious!  I would avoid herbs such as mint or peppermint since they don’t fit into the savory taste profile.
