Ingredients

  1. 2 cups water
  2. 1 chicken bouillon cubes
  3. 1 (0.21oz) packet of Freeze-Dried Hatch Chile
  4. 2/3 cup potato flakes
  5. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  6. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  7. 1 teaspoons onion powder
  8. 1 (2.6oz) pouch ready-to-eat chicken
  9. 1(10-inch) flour tortilla

Instructions

  1. Add water and bouillon cube to a 4 cup sized (or larger) camp stove. Bring to a boil and add the Hatch Green Chile packet. Cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the potato flakes, oregano, garlic, onion powder and chicken. Let stew sit for 5-10 minutes to cool to a safe eating temperature. Scoop and eat the stew with a tortilla and a spoon.
