Make your next gathering of friends and family even more enjoyable by serving them a glass of smooth and delicious Crowd Pleasing Coconut Lime Mocktail. This recipe makes a large amount, so the whole family can partake (and have multiple servings). Serve this beautiful white drink from a large pitcher on your back yard patio filled with mint and ice, or bust out the mason jar shaped drink dispenser (you know you have/want one) and fill it up. You’ll get lots of compliments and may have to make a second batch, so be ready!
Crowd Pleasing Coconut Lime Mocktail is smooth, delicious and super easy.
I recently attended an event that was serving guests a virgin coconut margarita. I loved the taste and since I’m not an alcohol drinker, I wanted to recreate it at home to share with my family. I originally made this with freshly squeezed lime juice, and it was really good, but not worth the sore wrist I was left with after juicing a million limes! However you get your lime juice, just add a couple cans of coconut milk, a can of coconut cream (trust me you’ll want this, don’t skip it), club soda, half and half, and some Agave nectar to sweeten it all up. The smooth coconut and bright lime flavor is sooooo yummy!
Whisk all the ingredients together and pour through a strainer into your serving container. The strainer helps to catch some errant clumps of coconut that would otherwise make your smooth drink not so smooth- know what I’m sayin’?
This drink is beautifully garnished with fresh mint leaves and chopped fruit. I love the watermelon pineapple pairing myself :0) If you’d like more recipe ideas for family friendly mocktails, there’s a ton here. The original margarita recipe that inspired me to make this one can be found here.
